VISA PAYMENT

This is the extract i've obtain from the

http://www.vfs-uk-my.com/payment.aspx,

the official website for Visa applications branch in Malaysia which HAVE BEEN POSTED, EMAILED FEW TIMES ALREADY by MS Jen and others. So PLEASE READ THIS THOROUGHLY and don't allow yourself to make careless mistake or ask questions which does not leave a good impression to yourself unless you are willing enough to pay RM976 for the second time and go through all the hassle all over again.

Channels of payment:

1. By CASH across all Alliance Bank Counters (NOT through the cash/cheque deposit machines)

2. By CASHIER'S ORDER/BANK DRAFTS issued from any bank and can be submitted at the VFS UK visa application centre and payable to "VFS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd." payable in Kuala Lumpur only.

3. By online fund transfer if you have an Alliance Bank savings or current account with personal internet banking access (alliance online PERSONAL) to Payee Corporation: VFS (M) S/B FOR UK VISA FEE, Account number: 14185-0-01-001313-7,

Please note: Options 1 to 3 are surcharge free. Applicants using options 1 and 3 must wait until the next working day after making their payment before submitting their visa application and supporting documents at the VFS visa application centre

For option 2 applicants can purchase a cashier's order/banker's draft from any bank and submit their visa application THE SAME DAY at the VFS UK visa application centre, during opening hours.

If i'm not mistaken, Ms Jen has already instructed us to NOT TO PAY for the VISA as yet until all forms have been filled in.

My opinions about the method of payment:

1. For me the first option is quiet a nuisance because you have to open up a new account with the Alliance bank, which is not so popular among us and the fact that most of (at least i would) be paying in bank drafts will make it more difficult if things don't go as planned.

2. the online option is a complete NO NO to me. For me, no matter how strong your connection is, things will easily get haywire when you are dealing with internet banking. I know i have my bit share of it when booking the tickets to Sabah. One common phenomenon is that after you have clicked the 'pay' button you'll have to wait a few minutes before it can suck in the money you have transferred. And most likely, during that time, the connection will either shut itself off or it will become very slow that you yourself choose to reload the page. Once you reload it, that's when the problem gets really annoying. You may ended up being considered as have not paid the fees and have to go through all the fiasco all over again and of course loose A HUGE AMOUNT of money. You'll need to have an Alliance acount which only add up to more headache.

3. Since we are all going down to KL, maybe perhaps it'll be easier if all of us, if possible pay by BANK DRAFTS at the VFS counters because:

1. All of us will be paying with the same method and if one of us face some problem we can solve it on the dot. Plus you might not get so nervous if yours is problematic

2. You can have the bank draft from any banks convenient to you which i think is very convenient since not all of us have the same choice of banks except for BSN.

That's all for now. Again as a REMINDER. PLEASE go to these websites,

http://www.vfs-uk-my.com/

OR

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/

AND READ!!!!!!!!! ABOUT THE VISA PROCESS. DONT BE SUCH A LAZY BUM WHO ONLY 'HEAR' THINGS FROM OTHERS AND DONT WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO 'YOUR OWN' SUCCESS IN MAKING YOUR WAY TO WARWICK.

That’s why we MUST love them more than others…

Cliché may it seems, but that’s the whole idea when it comes to discussing who should you literally and figuratively poured your metaphorically liquefied love. Most people would understand that, our love towards parents SHOULD & if not excessively stated, MUST be more than any other human beings, well of course after God and His Messenger.

Some people of certain community, not necessarily within a particular culture tend to disembark on a different journey, away from their parents after reaching a certain age. If others have their own reason on disagreeing to this statement, well I think everyone knows what suits their life the best.

Mine, I’m highly indebted with my parents even at the point where most likely shouldn’t be any more of a burden to them. To clear things out, it’s not something anyone would have wanted to do, some who’d arrived at the mature stage of their life of course. It’s just the matter of some tentacles of your body or your souls tends to outstretch accordingly and some still seeking ways of limiting themselves from any forms of exposure.

Anyway, just trying out my writing skills. It’s been a while, a VERY LONG While, since I’ve post anything on my blog. Leave comments as you wish. I’m hoping to put more effort on filling in my blog with a lot of other inputs.
Cheerio.

Take a break...

Recently reported in the Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyers Journal, the following are questions actually asked of witnesses by attorneys during trials and, in certain cases, the responses given by insightful witnesses:

1. "Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning?"

2. "The youngest son, the twenty-year old, how old is he?"

3. "Were you present when your picture was taken?"

4.. "Were you alone or by yourself?"

5. "Was it you or your younger brother who was killed in the war?"

6. "Did he kill you?"

7. "How far apart were the vehicles at the time of the collision?"

8. "You were there until the time you left, is that true?"

9. "How many times have you committed suicide?"

10. Q: "So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8 th?"
A: "Yes."
Q: "And what were you doing at that time?"

11. Q: "She had three children, right?"
A: "Yes."
Q: "How many were boys?"
A: "None."
Q: "Were there any girls?"

12. Q: "You say the stairs went down to the basement?"
A: "Yes."
Q: "And these stairs, did they go up also?"

13. Q: "Mr. Slatery, you went on a rather elaborate honeymoon, didn't you?"
A: "I went to Europe, Sir."
Q: "And you took your new wife?"

14. Q: "How was your first marriage terminated?"
A: "By death."
Q: "And by who's death was it terminated?"

15. Q: "Can you describe the individual?"
A: "He was about medium height and had a beard."
Q: "Was this a male, or a female?"

16. Q: "Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice sent to your attorney?"
A: "No, this is how I dress when I go to work."

17. Q: "Doctor, how many autopsies have you performed on dead people?"
A: "All my autopsies are performed on dead people."

18. Q: "All your responses must be oral, OK? What school did you go to?"
A: "Oral."

19. Q: "Do you recall the time that you examined the body?"
A: "The autopsy started around 8:30 p.m.."
Q: "And Mr. Dennington was dead at the time?"
A: "No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy."

20. Q: "You were not shot in the fracas?"
A: "No, I was shot midway between the fracas and the navel."

21. Q: "Are you qualified to give a urine sample?"
A: "I have been since early childhood."

22. Q: "Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?"
A: "No."
Q: "Did you check for blood pressure?"
A: "No."
Q: "Did you check for breathing?"
A: "No."
Q: "So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?"
A: "No."
Q: "How can you be so sure, Doctor?"
A: "Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar."
Q: "But could the patient have still been alive nevertheless? "
A: "It is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere."
